Den Haag - The Hague in English - is one of the 3 most important Dutch cities and for me it as a special meaning. They say that 'in Rotterdam you make the money, in The Hague you manage the money, in Amsterdam you spend them'. Clean, quiet, a bit boring... all the administrative and political Dutch institutions, many international organisations and almost all the international courts are based there.

I lived there for almost 2 years working in the field of 'human rights', I came back to Italy with a sense of bitterness and with the head full of ideas..

I covered Milosevic Trial for RadioRadicale.it from 12 February till 2 December, 2002, but I had to quit because I was hired by the International Criminal Court.... funny experiences :) the first one: an historical trial and lots of friends I really love, and the second.... well, let's say that I've seen 'The Birht of a Bureaucracy' and I realised that big international institutions/organisations are built to be disfunctional...
